Being a creative person holds its challenges. You have critism regularly and are rejected from exhibitions, competitions , commissions not working out and unforturanety its one of those things you have to live with.
Not all your work will be liked by everyone that's a fact, but do I concede to being a traditional painter; painting landscapes, animals and flowers or do I do what I feel and love, the weird and wonderful world of the abstract and more conceptual controversial world of art, testing myself and the viewer.
My art is for me, and if others like what I do its a bonus but not a necessity.
I think I've just answered my own question.
