Starting to feel like me again.

Its always a slow start for me creatively after January and the whole 'getting back to normal' thing, over coming the Mother of all Colds and other health misdemeanors that hit me this time of year.

Pleased to say feeling inspired today. So have been sketching and researching inspirations from last nights 'The Story of Scottish Art' BBC programme.

Lots of new undiscovered artists I have heard little about through my art education. William Gear, Joan Eardley and William Turnbull. From what I've seen of these creatives I definitely want to see more.
The programme also made me rediscover old faves... Peter Doig and Eduardo Paolozzi.

I have started the ball rolling for exhibiting publicly this year and have arranged 2 projects in May which I will produce some new paintings for.

I have also begun exploring https://studiovox.com/members/michelleranson looking for other ways to connect to artist types and share the inspirations.

So all in all a more productive day than I have had in recent days.
