So I have returned from a GREAT weekend in Bognor Regis. Freshly inspired to create Art, in particularly pottery.
Had the privilege of spending time with Jim Ranson (yes, same surname, more than likely distant relatives) of BBC's The Great Pottery Throw Down fame and some lovely locals creating 3D wonders from Clay.
Jim and the group made me feel really welcome. Thanks guys.
Had another go at 'throwing' pleased to say from a little help from Jim I managed to create my tallest thrown pot so far. Did a bit of Coil hand building too, using different techniques than I have before.
I now want to get a wheel and kiln which means a larger studio, or a second studio. Never thought I would out grow my current studio. Eeekkk!
